Standfirst
A concept project for a private equestrian estate, where riding happens one rider at a time, for guests who choose by feeling long before price. We designed the website such an estate deserves, with the same character as its grounds.
An editorial website that reads like the estate’s own paper
Set as a country gazette, with a masthead, numbered editions and captioned plates, so every page feels like part of one publication.
Art direction that lets the land speak first and a booking journey that feels like writing to the house
Mist, still water, horses in profile. A stranger senses the pace and privacy of the place before reading a word. Guests send a letter instead of using a booking widget. Each request arrives complete, ready for a personal reply.
Every business already has a feeling.
The website’s only job is to let a stranger feel it first.
